Accident – Death – Obituary News :
A tragic incident unfolded in the Russell neighborhood of Louisville last month, resulting in a quadruple shooting that has now claimed the lives of two individuals. The shooting occurred on January 31st at approximately 12:30 p.m. in the vicinity of 12th Street and W Muhammad Ali Boulevard.
Upon arrival at the scene, the Louisville Metro Police Department discovered four men who had been shot. Regrettably, one of the men succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The remaining three individuals were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
The initial fatality was identified as 22-year-old Corey Dillard. However, the tragic toll of the shooting continued to mount as a second victim passed away the day after the incident while receiving medical treatment at the hospital. The coroner’s office has refrained from releasing any details regarding the second victim at this juncture.
Despite ongoing investigations by the LMPD’s Homicide Unit, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. Authorities are urging anyone with pertinent information to come forward and assist in the case.
