The unfortunate event occurred in the Dubagga police station area, where a 22-year-old youth named Aman, hailing from Shahpur Bhamrauli village under Dubagga police station, lost his life due to a gunshot wound.
Reports indicate that the police received information about a youth found lying near a multi-storey apartment at Kuda Crossing. Upon arrival at the scene, Aman was rushed to the KGMU trauma centre, where medical professionals pronounced him dead. The examination revealed a gunshot injury to his stomach, leading to fatal bleeding.
The security guard involved in the incident, identified as Kamlesh, 44, from the Maal police station area in Lucknow, claimed that Aman was attempting to trespass into the apartment where he was on duty. Despite fleeing briefly, Aman collapsed unconscious a short distance away.
