A shocking incident took place at a bus stop in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore, where a Class 12 student named Pranav was brutally murdered on Saturday. The perpetrator, an 18-year-old college student, launched a savage attack on Pranav, leaving him with more than 10 slash wounds.
According to eyewitnesses and police reports, the assailant, armed with a sharp weapon, carried out the gruesome attack at the Ondipudur bus stand. The entire horrifying incident was captured by CCTV cameras installed nearby.
After the attack, the Singanallur Police recovered Pranav’s lifeless body and transported it to ESI Government Hospital for a detailed autopsy. It was revealed that a fatal strike to his neck had caused his untimely demise.
The suspect, who later surrendered at the Sulur Police Station, was apprehended by the authorities and handed over to the Singanallur Police for further interrogation. Initial investigations suggest that there was an ongoing feud between the assailant and the victim, stemming from a previous altercation over a trivial matter.
It is believed that the attacker had harboured intentions of eliminating Pranav due to this past conflict. The case remains under investigation as law enforcement officials delve deeper into the motives behind this heinous crime.
