The incident occurred at the Sri Venkateswara zoological park in Tirupati, India, where the man, identified as Prahalad Gurjar, 34, ignored warnings from zoo staff and entered the enclosure.

The reckless act resulted in a fatal mauling by a 12-year-old lion housed within the enclosure. Despite efforts by zookeepers and security personnel to intervene, the lion dragged Gurjar inside the enclosure, leading to his untimely demise within a mere 10 minutes.
