FOLEY, Ala. (WALA) – The Foley Police Department has announced that they have apprehended a suspect in connection with a recent shooting incident that targeted a family’s vehicle in the area.
Authorities have identified the suspect as Demerius Kevon Dailey, a 23-year-old resident of Bay Minette. Dailey was taken into custody on Saturday at a residence in Fairhope following an intensive investigation.
The incident, which took place on Sunday, Feb 4, involved a shooting that struck a family’s vehicle. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that there was an additional vehicle and victim who were the intended targets of the attack.
Dailey is facing five charges of shooting into an occupied vehicle in connection with the incident. The Foley PD has stated that the investigation into the matter is still ongoing as they gather more evidence and information.
