Accident – Death – Obituary News : St. Charles, MN (KROC-AM News)- A collision at a southeast Minnesota intersection in the early hours of Saturday morning resulted in three individuals being transported to a hospital for medical attention. The incident, which involved three vehicles, took place at the intersection of Hwy. 14 and Winona County Rd. 119 on the eastern outskirts of St. Charles. The Minnesota State Patrol swiftly responded to the scene of the crash, which occurred around 12:15 a.m.

According to the state crash report, the collision unfolded when an eastbound car, driven by 17-year-old Tessa Fay Ryan of St. Charles, was waiting in the eastbound lane to execute a left turn onto the county road. Subsequently, an eastbound pickup and a westbound car arrived at the intersection, leading to a collision involving all three vehicles.

Following the crash, Tessa Fay Ryan was transferred to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester to receive treatment for her non-life-threatening injuries. Additionally, two occupants of the westbound car, identified as 46-year-old Pearly Robert Paapcrabb and 50-year-old Sarah Hong from Winona, were also taken to St. Mary’s with non-life-threatening injuries.

Fortunately, the pickup driver, 19-year-old Quintin James Ehlo of Minneska, MN, emerged from the incident unscathed. The State Patrol confirmed that alcohol was not a factor in the collision, and all individuals involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

In response to the three-vehicle collision, several local emergency services agencies, including the St. Charles Police Department, St. Charles Ambulance, St. Charles Fire Department, Lewiston Police Department, Lewiston Fire Department, and Lewiston Ambulance, were also on the scene to provide assistance.
