The incident allegedly took place in a bathroom at Bryant High School, prompting district staff to immediately contact law enforcement upon receiving the allegation, according to a letter sent to parents in the district.
Arrest and Identification of Suspect
Authorities at the school, including school resource officers, detained the employee in question, who was later arrested by the Bryant Police Department. The individual has been identified as 33-year-old Rene Cross, a custodian employed by the district.

According to a post on social media by the Bryant Police Department, Cross was allegedly using a cell phone to record video of a male student while the student was changing in a bathroom at the high school’s field house sports facility. The charge brought against Cross is video voyeurism, and the investigation by law enforcement is ongoing.

Following the incident, school officials have stated that the accused employee will not be permitted to return to district property while the investigation unfolds.
