Accident – Death – Obituary News :
COIMBATORE: A shocking incident took place at the Ondipudur bus stop in Coimbatore city on Saturday morning, where a 17-year-old boy brutally hacked another minor to death in full public view. The victim, identified as Pranav, 17, hailing from Irugur in Coimbatore city, was conversing with a girl at the bus stop around 10.30 am.
The assailant, a minor boy in conflict with the law, arrived at the scene and retrieved a sickle from his bag. He then proceeded to launch a vicious assault on Pranav, inflicting deep wounds on his neck and abdomen.
After the savage attack, the perpetrator fled the scene but later surrendered himself to Sulur police inspector R Mathaiyan around 11.30 am. The police promptly collected his information and transferred him to Singanallur police inspector R Vinoth Kumar for further investigation.
Pranav’s lifeless body was conveyed to the ESI Medical College Hospital for postmortem examination as authorities launched a probe into the gruesome incident.
