The Eastern Cuyahoga County Resource Fair is scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 2 at the Tri-C Eastern Campus Student Services Building located at 4250 Richmond Road in Highland Hills.
Support for Families
Connecting for Kids is hosting the fair for the second year in the east suburbs, with over 300 individuals attending last year’s event. This year, a sensory area will be available for attendees to take a break if needed.
Resources for Dyslexia and Mental Health
With the recent passage of bills requiring dyslexia screening for public school students in grades kindergarten through third grade, families can explore options for reading tutors, academic support, and alternative schools at the fair. Additionally, the fair offers resources for anxiety, depression, and behavioural issues.
Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month
March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, highlighting providers in the community who assist individuals with attention issues, ADHD, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and other developmental concerns. Approximately 1 in 6 children aged 3–17 are affected by developmental disabilities.
Local Providers and Services
Over 65 local providers, including therapists, mental health professionals, funding sources, and transition services, will be present at the fair to offer support for individuals aged 0-22. Participants can engage with representatives to discuss services and explore program options.

Families who pre-register and attend the in-person event will have the chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card. For those with limited time, a drive-up service will be available at the tent in front of the Tri-C Eastern Campus Student Services Building to receive a grab & go bag of resources.
