Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A shocking incident unfolded at a Pizza Hut in South Milwaukee, as an employee stands accused of shooting and killing the manager over a sum of $7,000. The suspect, identified as Kavonn Ingram, 31, from Milwaukee, now faces charges of First Degree Intentional Homicide, Hiding a Corpse, Armed Robbery, and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

The tragic events came to light on February 7, when a garbage truck driver discovered a body inside a trash can near the dumpster behind the Pizza Hut, located near Chicago Avenue and College Avenue. The victim was later identified as Alexander Stengel, the manager of the Pizza Hut. The body, which was covered with plastic bags, had a trail of blood leading from the dumpster area to the back of the restaurant.

Upon further investigation, the police found that Stengel’s wallet, keys, and cell phone were missing. Detectives also noticed a small utility closet with blood stains and coagulated blood in the utility closet sink. Additionally, they discovered a mop in the closet with what appeared to be bloody handprints.

During the autopsy, it was revealed that Stengel had suffered a gunshot wound to the head, a cut across his throat, and puncture wounds on his neck. The cause of death was determined to be homicide.

Surveillance footage from a nearby Taco Bell revealed a suspect struggling to drag a trash can from the back of the Pizza Hut to the dumpster on February 5 at 10:25 a.m. The suspect was later identified as Kavonn Ingram. The investigation also uncovered that Stengel had shown a large roll of cash, amounting to $7,000, to several employees a few days prior.

The general manager of Pizza Hut received a text message from Stengel’s phone on February 5, stating, “Had a brain fart, what’s the door code again? Left my keys in the store.” She also received a call from Stengel’s phone, which had muffled and windy audio. Surveillance video further confirmed that the same person seen dragging the trash can boarded a bus at 11:01 a.m. on the same day, reviewing a cellphone taken out of their pants.

Cell phone records linked Ingram to the Pizza Hut location at 10:25 a.m. on February 5. A search warrant executed at Ingram’s residence led to the discovery of blood stains in the bathroom sink and a white towel with blood stains. Furthermore, the police recovered a red and black backpack containing a Taurus G2C 9mm handgun, three unfired FMJ 9mm cartridges, and a check from Pizza Hut made out in Ingram’s name.

The investigation took a chilling turn when Ingram’s girlfriend revealed that he had mentioned Stengel was about to receive a large settlement. She further disclosed that Ingram had told her, “The head works as a silencer. So if you and him are in the back of the store, and your gun is to his head, and you shoot him in the head, it works as a silencer, and no one is gonna hear it.”

Authorities have now charged Ingram with several serious offenses and will proceed with legal proceedings to ensure justice is served. The South Milwaukee community mourns the loss of Alexander Stengel and stands in solidarity with his loved ones during this difficult time.
