Hirdesh Katheriya, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Noida, provided details about the incident, stating, “Rakib Hussain had left his home around 8:30 am to go to school when he was attacked. The assailants, believed to be teenagers aged between 17 and 18, intercepted his bike near the school area. After a brief conversation, they fired a bullet, narrowly missing his right ear.”
After being admitted to the hospital, doctors confirmed that Rakib’s condition is stable and he is out of danger. However, the psychological impact of the incident on the victim and his family is yet to be determined.
