WILMINGTON, Del. – Police authorities have revealed that the lifeless body of a woman was discovered at Kosciuszko Park in Wilmington over the weekend. The victim, identified as Barbara Williams, aged 59, had been brutally stabbed to death inside her own residence before her remains were callously dumped at the park.
Investigating detectives swiftly identified two men as prime suspects in connection to this heinous crime. Following days of intense investigation, the authorities successfully apprehended the alleged culprits.
The first suspect, Steven Byrd, aged 35, was taken into custody on Tuesday, and he now faces charges of murder in relation to the death of Barbara Williams. Additionally, a second suspect, Joseph Welsh, aged 29, was also arrested for his involvement in helping Byrd dispose of the victim’s lifeless body.
