At 3:03 a.m., deputies located Jordan and Ferrell. Disturbingly, the 1-year-old child was found unresponsive in Jordan’s arms. Despite efforts to revive her, Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley pronounced the child dead at the scene. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

Following further investigation, both Jordan and Ferrell were taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

Rahem Devar Ferrell is now facing charges of murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
