Concord, UK – In a daring theft incident, four individuals managed to snatch more than $5,000 worth of merchandise from the popular Lululemon store located at the Shoppes at Brinton Lake on Baltimore Pike. The suspects, consisting of three Black women and one Black male, swiftly grabbed handfuls of clothing from the racks and fled the scene without paying, leaving the store staff bewildered.

This incident marks yet another blow to the Lululemon store in Concord, which has been targeted multiple times in recent months by organized groups executing large-scale clothing thefts. Just weeks ago, on Christmas Eve, the store suffered a break-in resulting in the loss of a staggering $20,000 worth of clothing.

The theft was reported to the local authorities by witnesses who managed to capture crucial information about the suspects. According to the witnesses, the four individuals swiftly entered a gray Subaru Legacy bearing Pennsylvania license plates before speeding away from the scene.

Responding swiftly to the call, state troopers spotted the suspect vehicle traveling eastbound on Route 322 and promptly initiated a traffic stop. However, the Subaru driver defied the troopers’ instructions and accelerated, attempting to evade capture. The perilous pursuit ensued at high speed, with the suspects recklessly maneuvering through traffic and dangerously driving on the shoulder of the road.

During the chase, the Subaru collided with a black Audi sedan, resulting in damage to the driver’s side rear tire. Despite this setback, the suspects persisted in their escape, determined to avoid apprehension.

Eventually, near Philadelphia International Airport, the state troopers executed a precision immobilization technique (PIT) maneuver on the fleeing vehicle. The maneuver successfully disabled the Subaru, forcing it to come to a halt on the left shoulder of Interstate 95.

Law enforcement swiftly took action, apprehending all four suspects. The driver of the Subaru, identified as 22-year-old Briell Hardgrove, was arrested along with the other occupants, Mikhail Bowers (19), Bilgis Rawls (18), and Tayana Little (22). All four individuals are residents of Philadelphia.

Upon their arrest, it was discovered that all four suspects had initially provided false identification to law enforcement, claiming to be juveniles. However, their true identities were revealed through the use of fingerprint analysis.

Further investigation revealed that Bowers was found in possession of another person’s ID card, driver’s license, and credit cards. This additional evidence may lead to further charges against Bowers.

As the investigation continues, authorities have towed the Subaru from the scene and are awaiting the issuance of a search warrant. Meanwhile, all four suspects have been transported to the Delaware County prison after being arraigned.

Bilgis Rawls faces charges of receiving stolen property, retail theft, and presenting false identification. She is currently held on bail set at 10% of $25,000.

Briell Hardgrove has been charged with receiving stolen property, retail theft, presenting false identification, recklessly endangering another person, as well as multiple traffic violations. Hardgrove’s bail has been set at 10% of $100,000.

Mikhail Bowers is also held on 10% of $100,000 bail, facing theft and false identification charges, with the addition of marijuana offenses. Unfortunately, court records for Tayana Little are not yet publicly available.

The successful arrest of the suspects has brought relief to the Lululemon store in Concord, which has been plagued by thefts in recent months. Authorities hope that this incident serves as a deterrent to other potential criminals, emphasizing that such criminal activities will not be tolerated in the community.
