Accident – Death – Obituary News : Indian-Origin Family, Including Twin Boys, Found Dead in California Home

An Indian-origin family, including their 4-year-old twin boys, has tragically been found dead at their home in California. The police are currently investigating the case as a murder-suicide, which adds to the growing number of tragedies that have struck the Indian community in the US.

The victims have been identified by friends as Anand Sujith Henry, his wife Alice Priyanka, and their 4-year-old twin boys, according to NBC Bay Area. However, the police have not yet released the official identities of the victims.

The incident occurred in San Mateo on Monday, and the police were alerted by a 911 call reporting that no one had heard from the family for some time. Upon arrival, the police checked the home’s exits and found no signs of forced entry.

Unfortunately, the police discovered four deceased individuals inside the home, including an adult male, an adult female, and two children, as stated by Jerami Surratt, a public information officer with the San Mateo Police Department.

The police are treating the case as a murder-suicide, and court records reveal that the husband had filed for divorce in December 2016, although it appears that the divorce was not finalized.

The two young children were found in a bedroom, and although they did not have any gunshot wounds, they were tragically found deceased. The cause of death for the children will be determined through autopsy.

The man and woman were found in a bathroom, both with gunshot wounds. The police discovered a 9-millimeter pistol and a loaded magazine in the bathroom.

Authorities believe that this incident is isolated, and there is no danger to the public. They stated, “We are confident the person responsible was located within the home.”

The San Mateo Mayor, Lisa Diaz Nash, held a moment of silence for the victims during the State of the City address on Monday night. She described the incident as “horrific” and “devastating” for the community and the police officers involved.

Unfortunately, this tragedy adds to a series of deaths among the Indian and Indian-American community in the US. In recent months, there have been seven deaths, including an IT executive who was assaulted outside a restaurant in Washington, a student attacked by robbers in Chicago, a student fatally attacked in Georgia, a student found dead in Ohio, a student found dead in Indiana, a missing student confirmed dead in Indiana, and a student found dead with signs of hypothermia in Illinois.
