Accident – Death – Obituary News : Indian-American Family of Four Found Dead in California Home

San Mateo, California – In a tragic incident, an Indian-American family of four, including two children, was discovered dead inside their residence on February 13. The San Mateo Police Department has identified the victims as Anand Sujith Henry (42), his wife Alice Priyanka (40), and their twin children, Noah and Neithan.

The San Mateo Police Department stated that two of the victims had suffered fatal gunshot wounds, while the cause of death for the other two remains undetermined. During the investigation, authorities found a 9mm pistol and a loaded magazine in the bathroom where the adults were found. Initial suspicions of carbon monoxide poisoning were ruled out as no evidence of gas leakage or faulty appliances was found in the home.

The couple, originally from Kerala, India, were both IT professionals. Anand worked as a software engineer, while Alice served as a senior analyst. They had moved to San Mateo County two years ago from New Jersey. The Indian mission in the country has extended consular assistance to the family’s relatives in India. Known for being friendly, hardworking, and devoted parents, the couple was well-liked by both neighbors and colleagues.

According to Jerami Surratt, a representative of the San Mateo Police Department, authorities received a call requesting a welfare check on the family. However, upon arrival, no signs of forced entry were found, and the four family members were discovered deceased inside. The investigation is ongoing, and the cause of the deaths is yet to be determined. Autopsy results and forensic analysis are awaited by US authorities.

This unfortunate incident adds to a string of tragic events involving Indian students in the country. Just last week, Sameer Kamath, a Purdue University student, was found dead in Warren County. This case bears resemblance to a recent incident where a wealthy Indian-origin couple and their teenage daughter were discovered deceased in their $5 million mansion in Massachusetts.

The San Mateo community and authorities are deeply saddened by this tragedy, and the police are committed to uncovering the truth behind the untimely deaths of this Indian-American family. The investigation will continue, and the community hopes for answers and closure in the coming days.
