UPDATE: Missing Girl Found and Suspect in Custody

After a harrowing search, two-year-old Lucialyn Aflleje has been located and is alive. The Guam Police Department confirmed that Eugene Wayne Tudela Huffman, the man suspected of taking her this morning, is now in police custody. This update was provided by the Guam Police Department at 5:19 p.m. on February 11, 2024.

While further information, such as the condition of the girl, is currently unavailable, police spokeswoman Berlyn Savella stated that she is awaiting additional details. Authorities are conducting further assessments on the girl and continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

Original Post: Amber Alert Issued for Missing 2-Year-Old Girl

The Guam Police Department has issued an AMBER Alert for Lucialyn Aflleje, a two-year-old child who went missing on February 11, 2024.

The child was last seen at approximately 10:05 AM in the village of Dededo, specifically along Chalan Kareta Street near Rt. 3. According to authorities, Lucialyn is believed to be in immediate danger.

Eugene Wayne Tudela Huffman (pictured on the right) has been identified as a person of interest in this case. Huffman was last seen leaving the area in a 2017 White Mitsubishi Lancer with license plate number 955 DP. He was wearing black and white striped basketball shorts and was shirtless. Currently, his whereabouts remain unknown, making it crucial to locate the missing child as soon as possible.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Lucialyn was taken from her residence following a physical altercation between Huffman and a female victim. Lucialyn is the daughter of the female victim, but there is no known relationship between her and Eugene.

Description of Lucialyn Aflleje:

Lucialyn is approximately 3 feet tall with curly hair and a dark complexion. She has brown eyes and was last seen wearing a turquoise sheer tank top with a white shirt underneath. She was also wearing pampers, turquoise rubber shoes (Crocs) with a pink strap, and had painted purple finger and toenails. No scars or birthmarks have been identified on her.

In response to the situation, the Guam Police Department has activated the Domestic Assault Response Team and Personnel from the Special Operations Division. An All Points Bulletin has been issued to all precincts and Law Enforcement Entities.
