An eighteen-year-old boy named Alok Mathur was discovered lifeless in West Delhi’s Rajouri Garden area on Saturday. Delhi Police officials have revealed that the victim had sustained multiple stab wounds.

Upon stumbling upon Mathur’s motionless body in a local park, a passerby promptly contacted the authorities. The police were alerted about the incident at 8:45 pm and swiftly arrived at the scene to take custody of the deceased.

The Delhi Police have formed several teams to investigate the incident, meticulously examining the CCTV footage gathered from the surroundings. According to available information, the deceased resided with his family in the nearby Raghubir Nagar locality. His father works as a garment presser.

This incident follows a similar occurrence in Delhi-NCR last week, where the mutilated body of a 17-year-old boy was discovered on railway tracks in Faridabad. The locals in Kheri Kalan village stumbled upon the lifeless body on a Saturday morning and immediately informed the police.

The victim, identified as Krishna Kumar, was a talented boxer who recently won a bronze medal at the National School Games held in Maharashtra. According to his mother, Krishna left home on Friday evening, assuring his return within an hour, but never came back.

Krishna’s cousin, Omveer, mentioned that he was depressed due to the biased results of a local tournament. The family alleged foul play and claimed that the results were manipulated. Krishna, a class 12 student, was also preparing to join the Army.

The police suspect that Krishna might have died by suicide; however, his family strongly denies this possibility, stating that “he was not the kind of boy who would commit suicide”.
