ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – An Orlando resident is now facing a string of serious felony charges after allegedly causing a collision involving a fence and a police cruiser in a residential neighborhood in Altamonte Springs, as confirmed by the local police department.
At approximately 1:16 p.m., law enforcement received a distress call reporting a gray Porsche heading towards the vicinity of 1008 Cathy Drive, engaging in what was described as “hands to hands with the residence,” according to an arrest affidavit.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers noticed two individuals inside the Porsche, but the heavily tinted windows prevented them from identifying the occupants. Moments later, a woman exited the vehicle and reentered it around 10 minutes later.
As the police activated their emergency lights and positioned their vehicles behind the Porsche, the driver, later identified as Ricardo Bell, crashed into two police cars before fleeing the scene.

Bell then executed a U-turn and collided with a small tree, subsequently driving through the front yard and striking a parked car in a nearby driveway.
Continuing his reckless path, Bell drove through the backyard and crashed into a fence along Alhambra Avenue, rendering his vehicle inoperable. Despite attempting to flee, Bell was swiftly apprehended by law enforcement.
Further investigations into Bell’s background revealed that his driver’s license had been indefinitely suspended.
Upon searching Bell’s vehicle, the police discovered a significant amount of illicit substances, including:
- 80 grams of methamphetamine
- 13 oxycodone pills
- 127 Suboxone strips
- 50 grams of marijuana
- Several drug paraphernalia including large smoking pipes, needles, and digital scales
As a result of his actions, Bell now faces a total of 17 charges and is currently being held without bond at the Seminole County Jail.
