Born in Calvary, Kentucky, Sister Browning devoted her life to education, touching the lives of countless students in both Kentucky and Missouri. Her teaching career led her to St. Bartholomew School, where she shared her knowledge and wisdom from 1952 to 1959. Later, she took on the role of principal at St. Leonard School from 1964 to 1968.

A Life of Devotion

Sister Browning’s commitment to her community extended beyond the classroom. She served as assistant superior from 1980 to 1984, providing guidance and support to her fellow sisters. Additionally, she took on the responsibility of directing the Mount St. Joseph Retreat Center in Maple Mount, Kentucky, from 1988 to 1994.
