Diane was born in Morristown, New Jersey in 1954. She grew up in the area and went on to graduate from Lakeland High School in Shrub Oak in 1972. Her thirst for knowledge led her to pursue a bachelor’s degree from Briarcliff College, a milestone she proudly achieved.

In 1978, Diane married the love of her life, John Caro, in Peekskill. The couple shared a beautiful journey together, residing in Yorktown for an incredible 45 years. Diane’s entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly as she owned and operated both Romancing the Home, a craft store, and Callahan’s Sports Cards, a card store.

In 2015, Diane and John decided to make Brewster their new home, where they continued to build a life filled with love and joy. Diane’s obituary highlights her passion for cartography and crafting, which she pursued with unwavering dedication.
