Progress of Land Clearance in Cao Bang Province
In accordance with Cao Bang province’s plan, the land clearance work is being carried out on schedule, and by June 15th, 100% of the land will be handed over to investors for project implementation. The leaders of Duc Xuan commune, Thach An district, stated that all affected households have agreed to hand over their land and requested the prompt arrangement of resettlement areas and the restoration of essential infrastructure by the investors.
In Hanh Phuc commune, Quang Hoa district, where 289 households are affected, there is a strong determination to coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure proper and timely land clearance according to regulations and deadlines.

The CEO of Deo Ca Corporation, Nguyen Quang Vinh, affirmed that Deo Ca will accompany the “100 Days and Nights Campaign to Complete the Land Clearance Work” for the project. This commitment demonstrates the company’s dedication and support for the development of Cao Bang province.
During the launching ceremony, many residents from the two districts expressed their willingness to actively participate in the peak campaign, as it is not only their responsibility but also a patriotic duty to contribute to the future development of Cao Bang. Lam Van Soi, Secretary of the Party Committee in Na Da hamlet, Hoa Thuan town, Quang Hoa district, stated that the construction of the highway has been a long-standing desire of the people in Cao Bang. He said, “My family and fellow villagers have always supported and agreed with the Party and State’s policies and have responded to the province’s directions with high determination. Everyone is ready to hand over their land as soon as possible for the project.”
Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Hoang Xuan Anh requested that all levels, sectors, and localities, especially Thach An and Quang Hoa districts, focus on the comprehensive and timely implementation of the land clearance work. He emphasized the importance of effective communication and mobilization efforts to ensure the legitimate interests of the people. He also called for specific plans to be made on a weekly and monthly basis, in compliance with land management regulations, and for proactive and flexible handling of situations to ensure early completion of the land clearance work.

Land Handover Ceremony for Project Implementation
To concretize the determination to hand over the land, the organizing committee held a ceremony to hand over the land to the investors. On the first day of 2024, in Thuy Hung commune, Thach An district, Cao Bang province, the Provincial People’s Committee organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the investment project of the Dong Dang – Tra Linh expressway. The Dong Dang – Tra Linh expressway project is divided into two phases. In Phase 1, the expressway will be constructed according to TCVN 5729-2012 standards, with a design speed of 80 km/h and a cross-sectional width of 17m for normal sections and 13.5m for complex sections. The total length of the project is 93.35km, starting from the Tan Thanh border gate junction in Van Lang district, Lang Son province, and ending at the Chí Thao commune junction on National Highway 3 in Quang Hoa district, Cao Bang province. The total investment for Phase 1 is 14,167 billion VND, with a project implementation period of 36 months.
In conclusion, the land clearance work in Cao Bang province is progressing according to plan, with the full cooperation and support of the local population.
