@danredford70 said 27 January marks the 2nd anniversary of the death of Charanjit Singh, aged 90, India's men's field hockey skipper, when they won Olympic GOLD in Tokyo in 1964. He was also honoured with Padma Shri, the fourth highest Indian civilian award, in 1964. RIP!
