Although Milojevic never made it to the NBA as a prominent player, he did venture outside of Serbia in 2006 when he signed with Spain’s Valencia Basket. His playing career came to a close in 2009.

Following his retirement as a player, Milojevic transitioned into coaching. He started his coaching journey in Serbia, leading the Mega Bemax team based in Belgrade. Under his guidance, the team achieved impressive results, reaching the league semi-finals and securing eighth place in the ABA League with a record of 12-14.

In 2018, Milojevic received a significant opportunity when he joined the Houston Rockets Summer League coaching staff in the NBA. Alongside this role, he also coached the Serbian national team alongside Igor Kokoškov.

On June 17, 2021, Milojevic signed with the Golden State Warriors, becoming part of Stephen Curry’s team. Reflecting on his experience coaching at the highest level of basketball in the world, he described it as a “big challenge.” However, he expressed gratitude for being surrounded by talented players, a great team of coaches, and a supportive organization.
