Dakota James Ballenger, William Kenneth Hodges, and Justin Scott Hardaway were identified as the individuals responsible for the crime.

On October 1, 2024, Ballenger was taken into custody, followed by the arrest of Hodges on October 2, 2024. Both suspects were charged with Burglary 3rd and are currently being held at the Morgan County Jail on a $20,000.00 bond. However, Justin Scott Hardaway remains at large.
Sgt. Lesley Sheffield of the Criminal Investigation Division is seeking the public’s help in locating Hardaway, who is known to frequent various RV parks. Descriptions of his vehicles, including a 2009 black Dodge Challenger with a red stripe and an older model maroon/black Chevrolet Silverado extended cab truck, have been provided.
