Ireland Ehrfurth, an 11-year-old student at Mosinee Middle School, tragically lost her life after being struck by a vehicle while biking on the 1200 block of Western Avenue in Mosinee, Wisconsin. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Wednesday near the Napa Auto Parts store.

According to Mosinee Police, the driver of a pick-up truck was traveling west on Western Avenue when the collision occurred at the intersection of Western and Willow Street. Despite the driver’s cooperation with authorities, the young bicyclist was fatally injured while crossing the street.
