York Regional Police have confirmed that the burned human remains found on Aug. 12 in Parry Sound belong to Yuk-Ying Anita Mui, a missing 56-year-old woman from Markham. Mui was reported missing on Aug. 9 by her family, who had not heard from her since 11 a.m. Her car was located in Toronto three days later.

Three youths have been charged in connection with Mui’s death after investigators discovered that they were in possession of her belongings.
