East Hartford police are currently investigating a tragic incident that occurred on Hilltop Farms Lane. The authorities responded to a report of a possible gunshot victim, only to discover a heartbreaking scene of a murder-suicide at the residence. The victims, identified as Naresh Kumar and Upma Sharma, had both suffered fatal gunshot wounds.

According to police spokesperson Marc Caruso, the couple, who had been married for several years, were found with a firearm nearby. The investigation revealed signs of a prior dispute between the two individuals. Fortunately, no children were present during the incident, and a third adult in the home escaped unharmed.
