The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle crash involving a 2016 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Austin Grigsby, 22, from Baldwinsville. Preliminary investigations revealed that Grigsby lost control of the motorcycle while traveling at a high speed on State Route 481, crashing into a guardrail on exit 14. Despite efforts by emergency responders, Grigsby was pronounced dead at the scene.
Assistance was provided by the Phoenix Fire Department, Pennellville Volunteer Fire Department, Menter Ambulance, Fulton Police Department, and the New York State Police. The accident remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the cause of the tragic incident.
