A fatal motorcycle crash in Millsboro, DE has left the community in mourning after a young man lost his life in a tragic accident. Delaware State Police are currently investigating the incident, which took place at the intersection of Shiloh Church Road and Rockaway Acres Road.

The collision occurred when a Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by 19-year-old Gabriel Hearn of Georgetown, turned left from Rockaway Acres Road and collided with a Chevy Tahoe traveling eastbound on Shiloh Church Road. Hearn was ejected from the motorcycle during the crash and tragically succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a local hospital.
The driver of the Tahoe, a 39-year-old Laurel resident, and a 12-year-old passenger were thankfully uninjured in the collision. The intersection was closed for several hours as authorities worked to investigate and clear the scene.
The Delaware State Police Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit is continuing to investigate the incident, and anyone who may have witnessed the crash is urged to come forward with information. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Gabriel Hearn during this difficult time.
