Obituary – Death – Cause of Death News : Norfolk Police Detectives have arrested and charged a 24-year-old man, Javon C. Williams, in connection with a residential burglary and shooting incident on Chesapeake Boulevard. The incident occurred on July 30th when police responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the 6600 block of Chesapeake Boulevard. The victim, also 24, was found with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and taken to the hospital for treatment.
Upon investigation, it was determined that Williams had entered a resident’s home and was shot by the homeowner. Williams has been charged with burglary and is currently in Norfolk City Jail without bond. Police have confirmed that no other suspects are being sought in connection with this incident.
