A heartbreaking incident unfolded on Interstate 84 near Hood River County, Oregon, in the early hours of Thursday morning. A 55-year-old woman, Geraldean Edna Martin, tragically lost her life when an ambulance collided with her vehicle as she was pulled over on the side of the road with a flat tire.

According to Oregon State Police, the American Medical Response ambulance, driven by 42-year-old Amanda Hancock, veered out of the travel lane and struck Martin’s Chevrolet Camaro. Martin was outside of her car at the time of the crash and sadly did not survive the impact.
