The victim, Djifenson Dorilus of Salisbury, Maryland, was driving his 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe in the wrong direction on Sussex Highway (Route 13) in the early hours of the morning. As he approached a 46-year-old Millsboro man driving a 2017 Dodge Durango in the opposite direction, both vehicles collided in the highway’s left lane, causing the Hyundai to overturn onto its roof.
Dorilus was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but sadly succumbed to his wounds the following day. The driver of the Dodge was also hospitalized with serious injuries from the crash.
