Heartbreaking news out of Strongs Prairie, WI as a 38-year-old woman lost her life in a devastating two-vehicle crash. The incident, which occurred on Friday evening, also left two others injured, one critically.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office received a call around 5:50 p.m. about a collision near State Highway 21 and County Highway Z. Preliminary investigations revealed that a Ford F150 failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a Volkswagen Jetta at the intersection.

Tragically, Sharon M. Peterson, a resident of Strongs Prairie, was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the F150 were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the vehicle upon impact. One occupant was airlifted to Marshfield Medical Center in critical condition.
