Accident – Death – Obituary News : A tragic incident has shaken the community in Bengaluru, as a three-year-old boy named Ashwin was allegedly killed by his mother’s 30-year-old partner, Micheal Raj. The accused believed that the child was interrupting their intimate relationship and took drastic actions, which ultimately led to the child’s untimely demise. Raj, a resident of Bommanahalli, has been arrested by the police in connection to this heinous crime.

According to authorities, the assault on Ashwin took place on two separate occasions on July 6, resulting in the child’s hospitalization. Despite efforts to save him, Ashwin tragically passed away two days later. The incident has left the community in shock and disbelief, as the young boy’s life was cut short due to a senseless act of violence.

Ashwin resided in Virat Nagar, NGR Layout in Roopena Agrahara with his mother, Ramya Kumari. Ramya had been married to her elder sister’s husband, Satish, six years ago, and the couple had two children together. Following marital issues, Ramya separated from Satish and moved back to her parental home with her two children, including Ashwin. It was during this time that Ramya met Raj, a father of two who owned a two-wheeler garage in the neighbourhood.

Raj’s garage was conveniently located across from Ramya’s parental residence, and the two began an affair that eventually led them to rent an apartment together in NGR Layout. However, what started as a romantic relationship took a dark turn on the fateful evening of July 6, when Ashwin was subjected to violence by Raj.

Ramya recalled returning home from a brief errand to find bruises on Ashwin’s face, a sight that filled her with dread. Raj claimed to have slapped the child, but the violence escalated later that night when Ashwin woke up to eat a corn left on the floor. Enraged by this, Raj reportedly struck the child again, leading to a series of events that culminated in Ashwin’s tragic passing.

The young boy developed epileptic symptoms shortly after the incident, prompting Ramya and Raj to rush him to the hospital. Despite their efforts, Ashwin’s condition continued to deteriorate, and he was eventually transferred to NIMHANS on July 7. Tragically, Ashwin succumbed to his injuries on July 8, leaving his family and the community in mourning.

Ramya has bravely come forward to provide the police with crucial information, detailing the events that led to Ashwin’s death. Raj has been charged under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for murder, and the authorities are working diligently to ensure that justice is served in this heartbreaking case.

As the community grapples with the loss of a young life, it serves as a stark reminder of the importance of protecting and cherishing our children. The tragic death of Ashwin has left a void in the hearts of those who knew him, and his memory will forever remain in their thoughts and prayers..
