UNION, Ky. (WKRC) – Tragedy struck a quiet neighbourhood in Northern Kentucky on Thursday as two lives came to a tragic end in an suspected murder-suicide incident.

The incident took place at approximately 5:22 p.m. on Ormond Drive in Union, Kentucky, sending shockwaves through the local community.

Authorities were alerted to the scene after a family member made a distressing discovery of two individuals with gunshot wounds. Upon arrival, officers found 71-year-old Marsha Iseral deceased in a first floor bedroom, while her husband, 71-year-old Rick Iseral, was found lifeless in a first floor bathroom.

Both victims had sustained fatal gunshot wounds, leading investigators to believe that the tragic event was a murder followed by a suicide.

Despite the harrowing nature of the incident, law enforcement officials have assured the public that there is no ongoing threat to safety in the area.
