Accident – Death – Obituary News :
NEWBURY TWP., Ohio (WOIO) – A tragic incident occurred in Newbury Township on Thursday evening, as a 35-year-old man lost his life in a suspected drunk driving accident. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the driver, identified as Kevin Toothman from Chesterland, was ejected from his vehicle after crashing into a ditch on Sperry Road.
The fatal crash took place at approximately 9:44 p.m. when the 2007 Honda Accord driven by Toothman veered off the left side of the road, striking a ditch. The vehicle then crossed back over to the right side of the roadway, causing Toothman to be ejected from the car.
Tragically, Toothman succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident. The Ohio State Highway Patrol has confirmed that Toothman was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
