Accident – Death – Obituary News : A tragic incident occurred in Gurugram’s Bhawani enclave, resulting in the death of a 42-year-old woman, identified as Sunita Devi, from Dangra Aahar village in Arwal district of Bihar. The unfortunate incident also left her 18-year-old son and 32-year-old sister-in-law with severe burn injuries.

According to Inspector Rambir Singh, the station house officer of Sector-9A police station, the incident took place on the first floor of a house adjacent to the building where the woman resided. The trio had gone there to clean the premises when the incident occurred.

While removing an iron frame of a cot, they inadvertently came in contact with an 11,000-volt feeder line passing right in front of the house. Tragically, the woman was instantly killed at the spot, while the other two sustained severe burn injuries in their attempt to rescue her.

The injured individuals were rushed to the civil hospital in Sector-10 before being referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi due to the critical nature of their condition. Authorities from Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (DHBVN) were informed about the incident, and the power supply to the feeder line was promptly cut off to remove the woman’s body.

Further investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances that led to this tragic event. Inspector Singh mentioned that clarity on the sequence of events would be achieved through thorough investigation.
