Fabieus Myers : Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Wilkes County: Rider Killed in Dog Collision

A motorcyclist tragically lost his life in a devastating accident in Roaring River, N.C. on Thursday afternoon. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol reported that Fabieus Myers, 55, of Hays, was the driver who was killed in the incident.

The fatal crash occurred at approximately 2 p.m. along Bethany Ford Road near Royal Hill Road. According to troopers, Myers was travelling northbound on his motorcycle when he collided with a dog that had wandered into the roadway. The impact caused Myers to lose control of his bike, resulting in it overturning.

Despite the efforts of emergency medical services (EMS) who rushed him to the hospital, Myers tragically succumbed to his injuries. As of now, there have been no updates on the condition of the dog involved in the accident.

Investigation ongoing

Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, but initial reports suggest that neither speed nor impairment played a role in the tragic incident. The community is deeply saddened by the loss of Fabieus Myers, who was a respected member of the local area.
