Accident – Death – Obituary News : Three individuals, including two Australian nationals and their Filipina companion, were tragically killed in a hotel room in Tagaytay, a popular resort city in the Philippines. Police are currently working to identify and locate the suspects responsible for this heinous crime.

The bodies of the victims, who were found with their hands and feet tied, were discovered by a hotel worker at the Lake Hotel in Tagaytay. Despite the victims’ valuables, such as their cellphones, not being taken by the suspect, the motive for the killings remains unclear, according to Tagaytay police chief Charles Daven Capagcuan.

Tagaytay Mayor Abraham Tolentino expressed shock and sorrow over the incident, offering apologies to the families of the victims. The victims are believed to be a man in his 50s from Australia, his Philippine-born partner who held Australian citizenship, and her Filipina relative.

Investigations are ongoing, with authorities interviewing witnesses and reviewing security camera footage from the hotel. The footage captured a masked man carrying a sling bag leaving the victims’ room shortly before their bodies were discovered.

In another unfortunate incident, a small fire broke out in the spire of the medieval cathedral in Rouen, France. The cathedral, which was undergoing renovations, saw smoke emanating from its spire, sparking memories of the devastating fire that engulfed Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris in 2019.
