While the exact number of casualties was not independently verified, Baza later updated their report to confirm that two soldiers had been killed and one wounded in the shooting that occurred late on Thursday.
A blurred photograph shared by the outlet purportedly showed the alleged shooter, identified as 29-year-old Alexei from the republic of Chuvashia in central Russia.
