Accident – Death – Obituary News : A tragic incident occurred in Habersham County, Georgia on June 29, resulting in the untimely death of a 15-year-old teenager. The fatal crash took place on Ga. 365 at Demorest-Mt Airy Highway in Demorest, involving a River Point Community Church van and an SUV. Theodore “Teddy” Bone, a passenger in the van, was seriously injured in the collision.

Initially, six individuals were reported to have sustained injuries in the accident. However, Bone’s condition was critical, and he had to be airlifted from the scene to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston for urgent medical attention. Despite efforts to save his life, Habersham County Coroner Kasey McEntire confirmed on Wednesday, July 3, that Bone had succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the SUV involved in the crash was identified as 64-year-old Barry Thomas Clark. Following the tragic incident, Georgia State Patrol issued a warrant for first-degree vehicular homicide against Clark. Subsequently, Clark voluntarily turned himself in at the Habersham County Detention Center in Clarkesville on Wednesday.

Clark was released on $30,000 bond the same day, pending further legal proceedings. The community mourns the loss of young Teddy Bone, and the circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation by the authorities.
