CREEK COUNTY, Okla. — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) apprehended a suspect wanted for armed robbery in Creek County following a dramatic standoff in Tulsa on Tuesday.
Stephen Pool, aged 36, was taken into custody and booked into Creek County Jail on Tuesday evening on charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon.

According to OHP officials, the incident unfolded when deputies initiated a routine traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to use seat belts on Tuesday.
During the stop, the passenger, later identified as Pool, fled from the vehicle and sought refuge inside a nearby residence, prompting a tense standoff situation with law enforcement.
After a brief standoff, OHP deputies successfully apprehended Pool and took him into custody without further incident.
Following his arrest, Pool was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation before being formally booked into jail.
