OGDEN CANYON, Utah (WKRC) – A devastating incident unfolded in Ogden Canyon, Utah, resulting in the tragic loss of a man and his teenage daughter. The pair were traveling in a pickup truck when a bulldozer fell and crushed their vehicle.
Details of the Accident
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 12:49 p.m. on Saturday. A tow truck was transporting a mini bulldozer on a state road in Ogden Canyon. As the tow truck negotiated a right-hand curve, the bulldozer became detached and landed on top of a GMC pickup truck that was towing a speedboat.
Tragically, a man identified as 57-year-old Richard Hendrickson and his 16-year-old daughter, Sally, lost their lives in the accident. Two other adult passengers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
