The young soldier was found dead in her home, her body bearing the marks of nearly 70 stab wounds, according to a recent autopsy report.

Pfc. Katia Duenas-Aguilar, aged 23, was a dedicated member of the military community stationed at Fort Campbell. Originally hailing from Mesquite, Texas, she enlisted in the Army in 2018 and joined the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division at the base a year later.

Despite the efforts of law enforcement, no arrests have been made in connection with Duenas-Aguilar’s tragic death, leaving her family and colleagues desperate for answers. In a bid to seek justice for their beloved daughter and comrade, the family, alongside The League of United Latin American Citizens, has offered a substantial reward of $55,000 for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator.
