Following the shooting, Grier reportedly held the bus driver and the other 17 passengers hostage at gunpoint as he led law enforcement on a high-speed chase through several metro Atlanta counties. The chase eventually came to an end in Stone Mountain after the bus was disabled.

New footage reveals crucial moments during the pursuit

Atlanta Police have released three separate videos that capture key moments during the chase. In the first video, a seven-second dashcam clip shows APD officers tailing the bus on Interstate 85. The bus is seen driving in the middle lanes of the highway while law enforcement vehicles attempt to get ahead of it on the shoulder. Cars on the road are seen stopping or pulling over as the bus passes through.

The second video, a one-minute and 45-second bodycam footage, shows an APD officer driving alongside the bus as it slows down near law enforcement vehicles. The officer is seen taking out stop sticks and throwing them in front of the bus in an attempt to slow it down. The bus eventually runs over the stop sticks, designed to deflate its tires.

In the third video, an officer stops his patrol car on the shoulder of the interstate and throws stop sticks at the approaching bus, which also runs over them.
