A shocking revelation has emerged from the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, where one of their employees, Kenyall Williams, 38, is facing felony conspiracy charges for allegedly orchestrating a scam that defrauded the federal government of approximately $100,000 in COVID relief funds.
Williams is said to have collaborated with an unidentified male accomplice in carrying out this elaborate scheme, as per prosecutors.
According to arrest documents, Williams, her accomplice, and other individuals are accused of submitting fraudulent applications for federal tax relief under the guise of fictitious businesses. The court records indicate that the fraudulent activities took place between November 2022 and April 2023.
Although these serious allegations have come to light, it is important to note that they are unrelated to Williams’ role as an Instructional Specialist at EBR Schools.
