VERSAILLES, Pa. — An arrest warrant has been issued for a man involved in a DUI crash in Versailles.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Walnut Street and Center Street at around 10 p.m. on May 8. Two vehicles were involved in the crash, resulting in significant damage to both cars and multiple injuries.

Jonathan Bouchard Jr., one of the drivers, sustained an injury to his left forearm. Two individuals from the other vehicle were hospitalized with severe injuries that necessitated extended stays and surgical procedures.

According to the criminal complaint, the driver of the other vehicle stated that he had a green light and was attempting to make a left turn onto southbound Walnut Street when Bouchard’s vehicle, travelling north on Walnut Street, collided with him.

Bouchard admitted to consuming alcohol on the day of the crash. Further investigation revealed that his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) at the time of the incident was .235.

On July 10, an arrest warrant was issued for Bouchard on charges of aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI. He also faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances, disregarding traffic signals, reckless driving, and driving at an unsafe speed.
