The Anderson County Coroner’s Office has confirmed that a woman who was injured in a car wreck nearly three months ago has tragically passed away.
According to reports, Anderson County 911 received a distress call at approximately 3 p.m. on April 16 regarding a car that had veered off the road, collided with a culvert, and subsequently overturned. The victim was quickly airlifted to Prisma Health for urgent medical attention. However, due to the severity of her injuries, she was later transferred to hospice care.
Despite the efforts of medical professionals, the woman succumbed to her injuries on July 8 at 10:18 a.m. The deceased has been identified as 31-year-old Jessica L. Goolsby.
