Dustin Johnson : “Man sentenced for child sex abuse – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio”

DAYTON — In a shocking case that has sent shockwaves through the community, Dustin Johnson, 38, has been sentenced to 22 years in prison for his involvement in producing child sex abuse material. The sentence was handed down after Johnson pleaded guilty to the charges in court.

According to United States Attorney Kenneth Parker for the Southern District of Ohio, Johnson paid women to sexually abuse minor girls on social media chats. One such incident involved Johnson paying a woman to engage in sexually explicit conduct with a live girl on social media in June 2022. He recorded the communications with a screen recorder app, saving video recordings of approximately 10 minutes and 17 minutes on separate days.

Law enforcement authorities were able to track down the woman and child, who were located overseas. The victim, a five-year-old girl, was removed from the woman’s custody for her safety and protection.

Further investigation revealed that Johnson had more than 24,000 child pornography files on his hard drives. The extent of his involvement in such heinous crimes has shocked many in the community.

Johnson was arrested in February 2023 and entered a guilty plea in February 2024 for producing child pornography. The severity of his crimes has led to a lengthy prison sentence.
